Movie Monday: Week Thirty One

It's been a little bit since I've done a Movie Monday post so I thought I would do one today! It's a cute video from the beginning of May when Roweyn had just turned 16 months and was really starting to climb on EVERYTHING which you will see a little of in this video. But most of the video is of Roweyn playing Peek a Boo and being all sorts of cute! 

Movie Monday: Week Thirty

It's been just a little over a month since I have posted any videos of Roweyn and am finally back to it! I skipped a bunch that I have on my computer because they just wouldn't be that exciting for anyone except maybe family. haha 


So here is just a very quick one from the beginning of April when we were having a nice break in bad weather. Roweyn is 15 months here and we went to the park where she swung on the big swing with me for the first time.

Movie Monday: Week Twenty Eight

Oh it's Monday yet again! I didn't work today and yet I have found myself so busy that I am unable to post this until after 11. Roweyn and I got to see one of my best friends tonight that we haven't seen for months and won't see again for another few months, so this being posted late is definitely worth it!


These videos of Rowe are when she is 14 months. She really started to get into helping at this age. It was really cute. I always say "I hope she's this helpful when she's older!". haha She wanted to help sweep and vacuum, so we let her!

P.S. Roweyn is 17.5 months old today! I can't believe she will be a year and a half in half a month! This is nuts!

Movie Monday: Week Twenty Seven

It's Monday already and I have a super early and long day of work today. :( My week is somewhat up in the air and I'm not too fond of it being this way but oh well what am I supposed to do? ha

The videos this week are from the end of February. Roweyn was two days short of 14 months when we had a huge snow storm. Normally it doesn't snow down at our house and when it does it usually never sticks. This day it did though, pretty much just for the day but nonetheless we took advantage of it! The first one is right when it really started snowing while Roweyn was eating, so we decided to watch it come down.

This next one we decided to go out and play. There really wasn't a whole lot of snow yet but we still had fun! I pulled Roweyn around in a little sled and she had a blast! And so did the cat...haha

Movie Monday: Week Twenty Six

We have a busy week ahead of us! I decided to work an extra day and am working three days in a row but then I will have both Saturday and Sunday off which will be a nice change. But we will be busy every day this week so I have a feeling this Mama will be a little more tired than I usually am.


This week there are two videos of Rowe from the same night. Her just being cute and doing new things! She is 13.5 months old in them, doing some reading in the first one and cleaning anyone and everything in sight in the second one. 

I know lately the blog has been a bit boring....I just haven't had much time of anything else to post about but am hoping to change that this week.

Movie Monday: Week Twenty Five

Today's movies are from when Roweyn was 13.5 months old. My mom and I pulled out one of those old bouncy  seats, planning to get rid of it, when Roweyn found it and decided to climb into it. She thought it was the funnest toy, sitting, laying, bouncing and even standing in it. She was having so much fun with it that I decided to let her keep it. Here are a few videos over a couple days of her playing in it.

Movie Monday: Week Twenty Four

It's only Monday and I feel like it should be later in the week....I don't think that is a good sign as to how this week is gonna go. :/ We have a busy week getting ready for our garage sale this weekend, but I am oh so excited to be getting rid of stuff! I hope it sells!

Anyways, we are finally onto February's movies. If you've been following me for a while, you'll remember that I had stopped for a bit a couple months ago due to computer issues, so we ended up getting behind on videos.

So Roweyn is 13 almost 13.5 months in this video, taking a bath in the big bath tub all by herself and loving it!

Hope you all have a great week. I probably won't be posting much since I will be getting everything organized for the garage sale, unless I start going crazy, then I might lay it all out on here. ;)

Movie Monday: Week Twenty Three

Hoping everyone is having a good start to their week! My day has been somewhat strange work wise and I have a lot of thinking and scheduling to figure out and am really unsure what to do about it. Hoping that rearranging my schedule might fix it but then it might make other things harder. :/


Anyways...got a cute video of Rowe, continued from last weeks video of her climbing on the chair with lots of fun talking. She's just shy of 13 months and it will be our last video of January before we move into February! Sad to say that some of this video is dark. :( That's the one bummer about the Flip video camera, it doesn't do too well unless there is a TON of light.

Movie Monday: Week Twenty Two

Here are a couple short and sweet videos of Roweyn at the end of January, just shy of 13 months.


The first one is of her playing Just Dance 2 on  Wii with her Auntie Tayelor. She stood next to her and danced! So cute! It's a little dark though, sorry! The second is a quick video of her sitting in her own toddler size wicker chair and her feeling like such a big girl about it! Take a look.

Movie Monday: Week Twenty One

Back at the end of January we had this crazy week of 60 - 70 degree weather. The videos on here tonight are from the start of that week only a few days before Roweyn turned 13 months. The first one is one of the first times Roweyn was outside walking in our yard. So cute to see her waddling around and trying to walk on the uneven grass! The second is her talking away in her swing outside. And the third is a super cute video of her turning on her music and dancing. All three are so cute that I had to share them all tonight.

Easter post to come sometime this week with some super cute photos!

Movie Monday: Week Twenty

Hope ya'll had a great Monday! I had a busier day than I thought so I'm doing last minute late night posts. Today we have another two vidoes of Roweyn at almost 13 months. She was really into carrying around bags and purses and in these videos the bag is almost as big as her! It's so cute to watch her still learning to walk while trying so hard to carry the bag! Movie Monday: Week Seventeen

Today we have a video from when Roweyn was almost 12.5 months. It was taken the night of her 1st Birthday party after everyone had left. It's a super cute video of her having a blast with all the balloons from her party. Take a look!

Movie Monday | Finally Back! Week Sixteen

It has been quite awhile since I have done Movie Monday. It stopped for awhile because of the whole computer situation but now that I'm getting caught up with everything, I can finally bring it back! I was hoping back in January that I would be all caught up on videos and would be able to play the most recent videos, but since a little time has passed, we have to play catch up again!


I have a ton of videos from December but they are all about Christmas with a few Birthday videos in there as well. So I'll start in January with two videos, almost a week after Roweyn's First Birthday when she was almost fully walking. It's so cute to see her toddling around taking teeny tiny baby steps. Now she's running and I have to chase her everywhere!

M.I.A.

I feel like I have been so M.I.A. lately! And it's all due to the fact that my computer just doesn't want to work! It's broken again, after only working a day...again! It's back at the Apple store and hopefully this means the 3rd times the charm with fixing it!

I'm at work right now and am able to get on the computer and hopefully get a couple posts up and scheduled so that it doesn't look like I've completely abandoned the blog! I'm totally missing not being able to post more.

I do have a computer at home but it's in our office and Roweyn gets bored in there fast! Plus she hasn't been feeling well so bedtime hasn't been easy so I haven't been able to do anything after she's asleep.

I wish I could post photos and videos but they are all on my computer! Fingers crossed that I can get them all backed up next time so I can be worry free if this ever happens again!

Sadly it will probably be another week or two until I get my computer back, which means no Movie Monday until then! :( I will keep up with Roweyn's Ramblings, they just might not be on time. Like last weeks! oops! I will be posting that up today as well!

Movie Monday: Week Fifteen

November was a busy month for us. I was getting situated in a new salon, and my Mom was extremely sick all month. So I guess I didn't pull out the video camera much. But I did get a couple videos in, a few days before Thanksgiving, which puts Roweyn at almost 11 Months!


Up first is Roweyn having some fun with a tennis ball.

And in this one Roweyn shows off her drumming, crawling, listening and talking skills. Towards the end she really starts talking.

Computer Update

So we took in my computer Friday morning to Apple to get a diagnosis and see how much it would cost to repair it. Turns out the LogicBoard (MotherBoard) broke (or so they think) and needs to be replaced. It costs almost $500 to do so, which is definitely a big chunk of my bank account. Luckily for me, Apple seems to be super awesome and they are going to replace it and fix it for FREE!! Super stoked on this. Oh and as far as they can tell all of our photos and videos will be just fine!! Thank God!! So truely blessed by this outcome. Now it's just the waiting game until I get the call that I can go the 1.5 hour drive to pick it up!

P.S. Do any of you have an iPhone 4? I'm getting one this week but can't decide between the 16gb and the 32gb...Any suggestions?? I have an iPod Nano that is 16gb and only has 4gb of space left because of all the music and videos of Roweyn that are on it. I would love LOVE love any input ya'll have for me!! Thanks a bunch!

Movie Monday: Week Fourteen

Happy Monday! This week we have our last video of Roweyn in her 9 month stage. This was taken a week before she turned 10 months. My mom found a walker at a yard sale and got it for free....I was opposed to ever letting Roweyn use it because I have heard some negative things about putting your child in one. But all the kids in my family used one when we were little and we were fine, so I decided to let it slide and see how it goes! As long as you monitor your child, don't use it for long periods of time and make sure they are never in it around stairs, then there shouldn't be an issue! 


Roweyn loves her walker. She started going in it around 9 months and started taking steps on her own in December at 11 months. She loves being chased by us in it too! Who knows if the walker helped her at all, but it certainly didn't hinder her like some people have said they can do, and Roweyn is now fully walking but still enjoys going in it for short periods of time.


Try to excuse how ugly the walker looks and the sounds of our voices, (Haha, this camera has a terrible mic on it) and just enjoy how much fun Roweyn is having in it!

Movie Monday: Week Thirteen

Today we are looking at 3 videos of when Roweyn was 9.5 months old. I seemed to have taken quite a few videos that month! Just a couple of her playing with her toys, being silly and the last is when she was just learning to pull up onto furniture and walk around it! It's so weird looking back, seeing her just learning to cruise around the couch and now when I look at her she is walking circles around me! haha
