So here is just a very quick one from the beginning of April when we were having a nice break in bad weather. Roweyn is 15 months here and we went to the park where she swung on the big swing with me for the first time.

Movie Monday: Week Thirty
It's been just a little over a month since I have posted any videos of Roweyn and am finally back to it! I skipped a bunch that I have on my computer because they just wouldn't be that exciting for anyone except maybe family. haha

Roweyn's Ramblings Wk. 24
Yes! I'm actually getting this out on time this week! So proud of myself. :) We had a pretty laid back week, we didn't go many places, as I worked a good amount, so we enjoyed most of our time together at home and in our yard of course. :)
Wednesday we spent the morning at home relaxing and getting ready for an appointment in the afternoon.
For part of Roweyn's breakfast she had toast with jelly on it and really enjoyed licking the jelly off of the toast and of course not eating the bread.
"Oh Hai Mom!" haha no privacy for me with this little munchkin!
After a couple hair appointments at the house, we headed up to Grass Valley for the farmers market. It was hot and we walked around a couple times, got some food and then headed back home. It wasn't very exciting and I'm not too fond of going places with just us cause we get bored easily. haha
While we were there we ran into some of our friends who pointed out that Rowe and I were matching...we were both wearing green. Then I realized we were also both wearing purple too! I had no idea we were matching at all till she pointed it out!
We came home, spent some time outside. We went back into the house where Roweyn proceeded to take all the tuperware out of the cabinets, then climb into the pain where she then asked me if I could pull her around in it like we do with the laundry basket. Haha nice try kiddo but I don't think so!
I climbed into bed later that night and suddenly got a craving for chocolate, so I ran downstairs, grabbed a Hershey's bar, climbed back into bed and ate the entire bar in bed and enjoyed every minute of it. haha
Saturday I didn't have to work, so when Roweyn woke up, my sister heard her and came upstairs, she took Rowe back downstairs and my parents watched her so I could sleep in for another hour. It was SO nice! I can't remember the last time I got to sleep in for a bit. After I got up I spent the day with Roweyn of course.
She had a hard time going down for a nap, so I snuggled and nursed her on the spare bed in her room and after many attempts, I got her into her stroller and to sleep, but she wouldn't let go of my hand so I was stuck leaning over the stroller for a bit.
Later, Tayelor had a little party at our house so we spent the afternoon out at the beach where I got a super cute photo of Roweyn's foot prints in the sand!
We have the house to ourselves from tonight till Wednesday night but I'm sure we will stay quite busy. We've already basically made plans for every day since I won't be working until Friday because I don't have a babysitter. I always really enjoy the time when it really is just Roweyn and me. I'm waiting just a few more minutes before Rowe and I head out into the yard for the evening since it's about this time of day when it finally starts to cool off!
Have a great week! I know we will. :)
Monday after I got home from work we spent the evening outside exploring our yard. Roweyn loves to swing on the "big girl swing" on our side yard. I help her up onto it and push her very gently for only a minute or two and then she is ready to hop off and find something new to do.
When we came back inside we did some relaxing on the couch. Roweyn really wanted to cuddle with Cyder but Cyder was not having it. She kept getting up and moving and every time she would, Roweyn would be right behind her following her to the new spot. It was really funny.
Tuesday morning we woke up and Roweyn climbed out of bed before I did, like she normally does, while Mama tries to relax for a few more minutes. Well that was working great until I heard a crinkling noise...I jumped up in hopes that I could catch her before she dumped the almost empty bag of chips, mostly just full of crumbs, onto the floor. I raced out of my room only to find Roweyn sitting up on her changing table, with her hand in the bag, munching on the chips. I couldn't help but laugh! If you look in the photo, you can see to the right there is a light which is sitting on a little end table right next to our little loveseat couch. She has figured out how to climb from the couch to the end table and then up onto her changing table (which is just a changing pad on top of a card table) when she sees something up there that she wants. My gosh it is never ending with this kid! haha

Roweyn's Ramblings Wk. 23 | Almost a Week Late
I just can't seem to stay on top of blog posts since summer started. It makes me sad because I don't get to put the effort into them that I want to. But then again it means that I am so busy enjoying my time with Roweyn that it pretty much makes it worth it.
So here I am almost a week late for Roweyn's Ramblings. I've had the photos ready for almost a week now, I've been editing them here and there but haven't even gotten onto blogger until just now to post them. So let's see what I've got!
Roweyn being extra cute during lunch on Sunday the 10th while eating Annies Mac and Cheese.
After I got home from work on Monday we walked down to our beach and spent some time playing in the sand! It's almost always too hot during the day and I'm usually home from work by late afternoon or evening so it ends up being the perfect temperature! Rowe gets to play in the sand and Mama gets to relax in front of the lake while building sand castles with the kiddo.
Roweyn enjoying some nutella toast as a part of her breakfast Tuesday morning. She doesn't really eat the toast, she pretty much just licks and tries to bite the nutella off of it. Hence the reason it's all over her face! haha
Nigh nigh time, Rowe nursing before bed time. One of my favorite times that we just get to snuggle together for as long as Mama feels...which could end up being all night! haha
We worked the first Summer Nights in Nevada City, Roweyn barely napped on Wednesday so on our way there she ended up falling asleep with the book on her chest. She is still rear facing in her car seat.
Did you know that your kids are supposed to be 1 year AND 20 lbs before turning them around? Roweyn isn't 20lbs yet, so she stays Rear Facing, but even if she was I would keep her that way...it's also known as Extended Rear Facing. It's 5 TIMES SAFER to keep them Rear Facing till at least Two and the AAP recommends that you do so. Roweyn has NO problem Rear Facing and actually loves to look through the back window while driving. She has long legs but isn't cramped at all, they are a little bent but she doesn't mind it and if we were to get in an accident I wouldn't have to worry about her getting a neck injury like I would if she was Forward Facing.
Thursday the 14th we picked up Kayla and Kallie and headed down to the Sac Zoo. It was Roweyn's first time going. The weather was cooler this week so it was only in the upper 70s, there was a nice breeze too so it was perfect!
Kallie and Roweyn are checking out the monkeys!
Roweyn spotted the Carousel from half way across the zoo so of course we had to go on it!
Roweyn checking out the Giraffes. She couldn't take her eyes off them, so we get a photo of the back of her head! haha
After we got back home we spent the evening in the back yard, like we do almost every evening. We got the bubbles out and played with those for a while. It took me probably 10 + tries to actually get a photo of Roweyn's face! haha I kept getting the back of her head...but I LOVE this one.
Everyone's talking about no heat curls, but I'm lucky enough to have a natural wave. Thank God! Saves me so much more time getting ready. I used to always wear my hair straight, usually during winter and then wavy during summer, but not anymore. It takes way too much time to straighten my hair, I've only worn it straight once this year!
Roweyn pretending to be her Mama, shes got her bathrobe on and she's drinking some coffee (not really, its actually empty) out of one of my favorite cups.
Chasing Roweyn around the yard during some more fun in the sun on Sunday before heading over to the park.
Roweyn now trying to be like her Nana, with her sun hat and shades at her Auntie Tayelor's Water Baptism.
Pretty sure everything Roweyn is wearing is pink...even the floor at the fro yo place is pink polka dots! While we were testing flavors we gave Roweyn her own little cup of fro yo. Probably one of the cutest things was watching her lick it out of the cup!
Monday morning after shower time, Roweyn was walking around with her hooded towels on her head. She normally refuses to wear them and rips them off as soon as I put her down. Cyder was laying on the blanket and Roweyn walked over and laid down with her! So presh! Then she started making this face! One of my favorites...its so funny!

Roweyn's Ramblings Wk. 22 | 4th of July
We had such a great 4th. We spent the day relaxing at the house, lounging on the beach and in the lake, just spending time with the fam. It was definitely one of my favorite 4ths.
Cousins playing in the sand. Roweyn snug as a bug in her towel per her request. Eating my popsicle and not sharing with me. HER VERY FIRST PIGTAILS!!
Walking with Papa and Nana. Being cute. LOVING the watermelon. FIREWORKS!!
Roweyn LOVED the fireworks. We laid on a blanket on the grass and watched them above us. It's definitely one of my new favorite memories of us. She cuddled up right next to me and we would point at them and say "Oooo pretty" and she would giggle. It was the sweetest thing.
Friday July 8th:
Good morning Roweyn!!
#FlashbackFriday....Me at 35 weeks pregnant, Thanksgiving 2009.

Thursday we headed down to Roseville, mainly so we could find Roweyn a potty chair. We ended up finding lots of good deals on clothes and some others I just couldn't resist. :) We also met up with my best friend Vanessa from cosmetology school, along with her husband and darling baby. We hadn't see each other since her graduation when I was about 9.5 months pregnant. So she had never met Roweyn and I'd never met her daughter who was just born in February. Her name is Scarlett and she is the cutest little thing! Roweyn was so cute with her too.
1) A skirt I couldn't decide on...$26 down to $6 at Old Navy so I bought it.
2) A dress at H&M I just had to have!
3) Roweyn loving her new green potty chair!
4) Some of Rowe's goodies from Babies R Us. 3 tanks & a One Piece Suit on sale plus an additional 30% off and her potty chair $3 off.
5) A skirt, halter and tank top for Roweyn all under $6.99, plus 2 skirts for me on sale at Old Navy.
6) 2 shirts and a tank from H&M none on sale though. :(
7) 3 dresses for me from H&M the first one on sale but the others weren't
8) And last but not least, Roweyn modeling her new halter

Roweyn's Ramblings Wk. 21 | A Week Behind
Things have been a little crazy around here as you noticed in my last couple posts. I'm now a week behind in Roweyn's Ramblings and am ready to do some catch up! Lets hope I can remember all that has happened!
Here is everything from the week before 4th of July!
Here is everything from the week before 4th of July!
Monday the 27th:
Roweyn turned 1.5 years old! And drinking out of her cup like a big girl!
Tuesday the 28th:
Roweyn REALLY wanted to go boating. She kept pulling out her lifejacket and trying to put it on.
Wednesday the 29th:
My niece and Roweyn's cousin Devyn came to stay and play for a few days! She LOVES her cousin. She wanted to play with her non stop and copied everything she did. I wish they could see each other more often.
Thursday the 30th:
Every time I asked Roweyn to do something she would cross her arms. Roweyn's best friend Kashmir came over to play so her parents could go on a date. Rowe thought it was hilarious having shorts on her head. Rowe and Kash swinging.
Friday July 1st: Already?!
Rowe loving the trampoline.
(Below):
Rowe driving the boat while eating cheese...quite the multitasker. LOVING the boat ride! Bath time after the boat.
Saturday July 2nd:
My new coffee mug! I luff it! Rowe is the coolest kid on the boat. Duh!
The linky is already closed for last week, so I'm just going to put the one for this week on this one as well as our other post that is actually for this week. :) Did that make sense? ha

Summer Daze
We had a wonderful 4th of July weekend, spending time with family and enjoying the sunshine! Hope you guys did too! We were having so much fun we didn't take a lot of photos. I did get some adorable shots of Roweyn that will hopefully be up on Roweyn's Ramblings when I get a chance!
Lately I just haven't had the energy to blog. We've been busy trying to enjoy the hot weather as much as possible and by bed time I'm just exhausted. When we're not busy outside, I'm busy inside, trying to catch up on cleaning and relaxing when I get a chance and the last thing on my mind is blogging. Even though I want to put up the adorable photos of Roweyn and talk about all the fun we are having, right now I'd rather just spend the time living it and not blogging it. I do hope to get up a post of Roweyn Ramblings tonight if the time permits.
Roweyn and I have the house to ourselves this week. My parents, Tayelor and my niece Devyn left yesterday morning for Eureka to visit family. My brother Trevor and Sierra came down on Sunday and stayed until this morning to hang out with Rowe and me. It was SO nice having them here. They even watched Roweyn for a couple hours yesterday so I could go to work! Roweyn did so well, considering she hasn't been left with anyone besides my mom. I have to work on Friday too so she will be having a play date with Kashmir and her Mama Trisha. She's never had a play date without me going along but I'm sure it will go well. Having a friend to play with is always a good distraction!
Well Rowe is up from her nap, and after she has a nice lunch we are going to head down to the pool to play! Roweyn is loving the water and it will be our first time swimming there this summer. I'm excited to give her a little swim lesson! Nice thing about being an ex swim teacher, I can just teach her myself!
