Movie Monday: Week Twenty Three

Hoping everyone is having a good start to their week! My day has been somewhat strange work wise and I have a lot of thinking and scheduling to figure out and am really unsure what to do about it. Hoping that rearranging my schedule might fix it but then it might make other things harder. :/


Anyways...got a cute video of Rowe, continued from last weeks video of her climbing on the chair with lots of fun talking. She's just shy of 13 months and it will be our last video of January before we move into February! Sad to say that some of this video is dark. :( That's the one bummer about the Flip video camera, it doesn't do too well unless there is a TON of light.

Movie Monday: Week Twenty Two

Here are a couple short and sweet videos of Roweyn at the end of January, just shy of 13 months.


The first one is of her playing Just Dance 2 on  Wii with her Auntie Tayelor. She stood next to her and danced! So cute! It's a little dark though, sorry! The second is a quick video of her sitting in her own toddler size wicker chair and her feeling like such a big girl about it! Take a look.

Movie Monday: Week Twenty One

Back at the end of January we had this crazy week of 60 - 70 degree weather. The videos on here tonight are from the start of that week only a few days before Roweyn turned 13 months. The first one is one of the first times Roweyn was outside walking in our yard. So cute to see her waddling around and trying to walk on the uneven grass! The second is her talking away in her swing outside. And the third is a super cute video of her turning on her music and dancing. All three are so cute that I had to share them all tonight.

Easter post to come sometime this week with some super cute photos!

Movie Monday: Week Twenty

Hope ya'll had a great Monday! I had a busier day than I thought so I'm doing last minute late night posts. Today we have another two vidoes of Roweyn at almost 13 months. She was really into carrying around bags and purses and in these videos the bag is almost as big as her! It's so cute to watch her still learning to walk while trying so hard to carry the bag! Check it out below. Hope you have a great week! We are off to Reno on Wednesday for a couple of days, so probably no more posts till we get back!

Movie Monday: Week Nineteen

Happy Monday! Here are a couple videos of Roweyn at 12.5 months old! She is getting way better at walking and you get to watch me chase her around the house and commentating the whole thing!

Movie Monday: Week Seventeen

Today we have a video from when Roweyn was almost 12.5 months. It was taken the night of her 1st Birthday party after everyone had left. It's a super cute video of her having a blast with all the balloons from her party. Take a look!

Movie Monday | Finally Back! Week Sixteen

It has been quite awhile since I have done Movie Monday. It stopped for awhile because of the whole computer situation but now that I'm getting caught up with everything, I can finally bring it back! I was hoping back in January that I would be all caught up on videos and would be able to play the most recent videos, but since a little time has passed, we have to play catch up again!


I have a ton of videos from December but they are all about Christmas with a few Birthday videos in there as well. So I'll start in January with two videos, almost a week after Roweyn's First Birthday when she was almost fully walking. It's so cute to see her toddling around taking teeny tiny baby steps. Now she's running and I have to chase her everywhere!

Roweyn's First Birthday! | Part 1

I thought I would share how we spent Roweyn's First Birthday, I'm a little late, but better late than never! I'm going to break it into 2 parts, there's so many photos that I think it will be better this way! Her First Birthday was on December 27th, only two days after Christmas! So crazy to think about, and if you've been following me for a little while, you'll know how I feel about them being so close together. But we did it and it was great! There were toys and clothes galore from having both days to get so many gifts and it took me a little while to get everything organized but I did it!


We spent the morning pretty much like any other morning, got up, ate breakfast, played, took a shower and then we decided to make a Birthday Cake!

After the cake was all baked we decided to go to the park to enjoy the nice day! Roweyn hadn't been to the park since summer so we thought it would be a fun trip to take on her Birthday. She loved swinging, opening a couple presents, playing on the slide and watching the other kids that were there.

Roweyn's First Birthday Party

We had such a great day on Sunday for Roweyn's Birthday Party! It went so smoothly and was a great success. I couldn't have done it without the help of my Mom, who did SO much and even my younger sister Tayelor, who helped watch Roweyn and clean the house. I owe her a trip to get some frozen yogurt now! 

We did an Owl Theme with the saying "Look Whoo's Turning 1" as you saw in the sneak peak, it was so cute! I invited around 14 of Roweyn's little baby friends and had a great response with almost everyone rsvp'ing that they would be coming. The day of the party we had 5 people cancel, saying they were sick and a couple no shows. I was totally prepared for that to happen though so I wasn't worried at all and completely understood. As we all know, babies are very unpredictable. We had 7 babies come and it was the perfect amount! The ages ranged from 9.5 months up to 13.5 months. It was a great age span and they all played so well together. We didn't even have any meltdowns, besides the occasional baby beating up on another baby. Haha. We had lots of playtime with a couple breaks in between for presents, snacks and then cupcakes and the smashcake. We got wonderful photos too, there were so many cute ones that I couldn't leave many out. So I hope you have fun looking at all of them! We also took a few videos which I posted on Movie Monday that are hilarious to watch!

In the background of the last 3 images you can see some photos of me when I was young.

In the last one, the photo in the upper left corner is me on my First Birthday!

I made both the cake and the cupcakes and customized the frosting colors.

Roweyn's highchair got run into and that's why she was so upset.

I just had to take a picture though!

This last one is definitely my favorite. 

She started licking the cake and it was so funny to watch!
